Historic Ramah Museum: 783-5120, 10:00 am to 2 pm, Local historians will personally host museum tours.

The Ancient Way Cafe and Outpost: 783-4612, Friday Evening, 4:30 pm to 8:30 pm The Ancient Way Fall Festival Kick Off Celebration. The Ancient Way Cafe and Outpost and El Morro Ranches will be your hosts for a picnic style, Chuck-Wagon BBQ. There will also be music and vendors and El Morro Ranches will be offering game booths, silent auction, raffle and baked goods sale. The Ancient Way Cafe will be open throughout the week, offering Festival Specials!

Grants/Cibola County Chamber of Commerce: 287-4802, 9 am to 5 pm, The Great Fall Chili Fiesta in downtown Grants featuring Chili and Salsa cook-offs and other great foods and events at City Hall Park.

WUNM’s Gallup Multicultural Heritage Day: A year long celebration culminating each year in a Heritage Day presenting traditional songs, dances, foods, and arts of the many ethnic and identity groups and heritages represented in the city and greater community of Gallup.

El Malpais National Monument, Information Center: 783-4774, 10 am to 2 pm, the information center hosts the Ramah Navajo Rug Weaver's Association demonstrating traditional weaving methods.

Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary: (505) 775-3304, Sat 11 a.m. -? $5 donation. 14th annual Celebration Days. Tours, howl-in, campfire, live entertainment, vendors, camping, food, & fun!

El Morro National Monument and Zuni Pueblo: 783-4226, 5 pm to 7:30 pm, A very special Ranger-led, sunset mesa-top hike (2 miles, slightly strenuous). Hear the Zuni Migration story related by Cultural Interpreter Lena Tsethlikia and accompanied by the flute music of Fernando Cellicion. Meet at the El Morro visitor center. Bring water, a jacket, hiking shoes, and a flashlight.

Hear the Zuni Migration story related by Cultural Interpreter Lena Tsethlikia and accompanied by the flute music of Fernando Cellicion. Meet at the El Morro visitor center. Bring water, a jacket, hiking shoes, and a flashlight.

El Morro Area Arts Council is holding a Fiber Festival at its Old School Gallery: 10am-4pm, The goal is to stimulate thinking about the role fiber plays in our lives by looking at some of its many uses. There will be demonstrations, exhibitions, presentations, creative projects as well as food (with fiber) and products for sale. The Festival will feature shearing (sheep and llamas), carding, spinning, dyeing, weaving, knitting, quilting, embroidering, paper making, basket weaving, belt braiding, macrame, rugs, and more. Come join this exciting and fun day of exploration and creativity.

Zuni Fall Festival: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Featuring Zuni artists and art demonstrations, local enterprises, food booths, traditional dances and live evening entertainment. Also make sure to stop in at the A:shiwi A:wan Museum for a tour of the Hawiku exhibition. All day long you can enjoy an eclectic variety of local artists and vendors who will have their crafts on display and on sale in an outdoor market under the pines and sunshine at the Land of Fire and Ice.
